Coaches,

Here we go!  Massachusetts Hockey and USA Hockey will be paying more attention to these guidelines this season 2017-2018.  I'm going to ask Brian Walsh send a subsequent email with further information (especially as it applies to our On-Ice Helpers and Team Managers).

Here is what we need to have completed before we step on the ice this season:

1)  Update USA Hockey Registration  https://www.usahockeyregistration.com/login_input.action

2)  Please send USA number to

3) Complete your COREY (background screening) which is available on the Starhawks webiste and submit to

4) Complete respective USA HOCKEY SafeSport Training http://www.usahockey.com/safesporttraining

In addition, we will need to complete CEP training by Thanksgiving.

Find & Register for a Coaching Education Program (CEP) Clinic here:

     http://www.usahockey.com/page/show/892976-coaching-clinics

Complete your online age-specific training module(s):

     http://usahcepmodules.flexxcoach.com/

I know this is additional time being asked of you on top of all the time each of you already give throughout the season.  Hockey Ops do not want to see Great Coaches being held back beacuse of these requirements.  Please let us know what we can do to help.

Thank you in advance for taking care these requirements.

Regards,

Scott Pippin

Coaches,

Hope this email finds each of you well.  Please ensure your coaching application is in.  Hockey Operations will begin initial coaching assignments this week.  More importantly, we are looking to expand both on-ice and off-ice resources for by implenting "On-Ice Helpers" and "Team Managers" to each of your rosters where applicable.  Please encourage those individuals to submit an application.

As always, feel free to reach out to me directly with any and all questions.

Best,

Scott Pippin
